Affordable Prescription Safety Glasses Program Announced by Nonprofit Warehouse
Nonprofit Warehouse, an Atlanta based organization that provides products from nonprofit manufacturers to nonprofit agencies, government agencies and religious outreach ministries, recently announced a nationwide program for low-cost prescription safety glasses.

This is a program that fills a long-standing need for treatment of underprivileged workers and underserved adults' vision problems. It also enjoys tha additional benefit of putting money into the needy individual instead of administrative and other nonproductive costs.

Call for Health Project
The Call for Health project offers a toll-free telephone line for farmworkers, and is staffed by bilingual Spanish/English Information and Referral Specialists at the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH). Farmworkers who dial the Call for Health line can be referred to the nearest source of health care available. Information Specialists can also help case managers, physicians, nurses, and consejeras (lay health workers) with service coordination for migrant and seasonal farmworkers who need other services as they travel up or down the stream.
